Our journey began with a profound sense of loss and a deep-seated desire to channel grief into meaningful action. The memory of my beloved nephew Paul, my dear brother Chris, and a friend's 12-year-old niece—whose struggles with mental health and addiction ended tragically, fuels our unwavering dedication. We recognize that traditional therapy isn't always sufficient, prompting us to create a more inclusive and effective alternative.

 

The Rescue at Red Barn Farm is a healing haven that has evolved from the tragic loss of so many individuals to the mental health crisis and opioid epidemic in our community and beyond. The farm began as a labor of love where families and individuals come to escape the stress of everyday life and reconnect with nature. After experiencing profound loss within my own family, I felt a deep calling to create a safe space for the youth in our community who are struggling. Here, amidst the flowers, animals, and gardens, we provide a safe environment to support our mission.
